IH Durban is part of the Wild at Heart Group, a private, family owned and South African based company which started in 1997. They set out with a mission and a passion to expose young people from all over the world to the wonders, wild places and people of Africa. Wild at Heart offers youth safaris, adventure holidays as well as volunteer and research projects. We are now proud to offer excellent English tuition in the beautiful city of Durban, on the east coast of South Africa. We are also a University of CambridgeESOL approved teacher training centre. We now also offer a variety of exciting, new packages like THE TRAVELLING CLASSROOM, ENGLISH & LIONS, ENGLISH & SURFING, ENGLISH & DIVING etc. Our courses include General English, Intensive English, Academic English, Business English, IELTS Preparation and Private English with highly experienced CELTA qualified teachers. There are also lots of excursions for students when they are not in the classroom. Although our focus is on adults, we also offer Private and Semi-Private Classes for children.

We also offer Host Family and shared flat accommodation. There is a leisure room at the school with free tea, coffee, water and snacks available. Free internet cafe. Social excursions in the afternoons and evenings and there is an Adventure Tour centre on campus where you can book surfing lessons, safaris, day tours and activities like snorkelling, kayakking, quad biking and many more. There are also weekend trips on offer to game parks and the Drakensberg mountains. Airport transfers, registration and school materials are free.
