Madrelingua students have access to a library and study area, free Internet access and unlimited use of the software in our a multimedia centre, as well as a video library and rest area.

L'Italiano Porticando is Turin's first school teaching exclusively Italian to foreigners. At L’Italiano Porticando the students will find an inviting and friendly atmosphere which will allow them to feel at ease and to learn easily the Italian language and to get to know many aspects of daily life in this town and region. In fact, the lessons are held by experienced and motivated mother-tongue teachers, all university graduates, in a communicative method. The method aims at motivating the students to participate actively in their lessons and extra-curricular activities. The students will have the possibility to join cooking lessons, to take part in wine tastings and to walk with their teachers under the 18 kilometres of Turin's arcades, where they can have a rest at one of the many historical cafés, taste the famous "Bicerin" or Turin's delicious chocolates and confectionery, or where they can allow the many elegant "Made in Italy-Shops" to lead them into temptation of shopping. The school also organizes sightseeing tours and visits to museums for those who love history, arts and culture and excursion to the Alps or the lakes (f.ex. to the Lago Maggiore) for those who love nature. The combination of language tuition with extra-curricular activities related to the Piedmont area is the result of the schools conviction that to learn, to know and to become keen on the Italian language it is essential to get to know the many cultural aspects of the place you are visiting. The school proposes a number of Combined courses: a combination of Standard course with additional private lessons, literature, arts, architecture, tango, cinema or business Italian and also CILS exam preparation courses. Furthermore, the students can join the school’s Cultural courses on history, history of arts, cinema, literature, waterpainting, cooking classes and wine and chocolate workshops . For groups, there are Language holiday courses: one-week-courses with a particular "topic", which allow to integrate a cultural holiday with language learning. This is also valid for our Special topic courses like Italian for Gourmets or Christmas in Turin.

The school is open all year round both for group and individual teaching. The teachers are specialized in the teaching of Italian as a foreign and second language, and are particularly experienced in instructing adult students. The school of Italian Il Sasso is in Montepulciano, in the heart of Tuscany, half way between Florence and Rome. It is located in a historic building in town. It has 8 large, airy classrooms and a hall for conferences. There is a terrace with a lovely panoramic view as well as free Internet Point for students and WiFi access. The Italian language School Il Sasso offers to its students a wide variety of excursions and afternoon activities - guided tours, wine, olive oil and cheese tastings, cooking lessons, walks in the countryside – and the opportunity to study or watch a film at the school. Students are of every age group and come from all parts of the globe. Class sizes are from four to nine students. The classes of Italian Language and Culture are divided into six levels based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the European Council, with an additional level for students who wish to concentrate on conversation. The principal objective of our language courses is to get our students, even those in the beginner and elementary levels, to the point where they're able to communicate in Italian.
