Pylmon Language.Spanish School in Barcelona

Pylmon Languages specializes in Spanish for foreigners. Located in the centre of Barcelona, near from Plaza Catalunya, the school is in a modernist building of late 19th century, in the Eixample district. The school has nine air-conditioned classrooms, all with natural light, a conference hall, a free-access Internet room, a book/DVD library and a spacious room where the students can meet their classmates and have a coffee.
In an enjoyable environment along with dedicated and enthusiastic professionals, our aim is to enable the student to actively communicate and interact in a wide range of communicative situations and contexts while they get to know the culture of Spain. All our teachers are university graduates who have been trained to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language.
The methodology we use is based on giving the students solid grammar/vocabulary knowledge so that they develop their communication skills, improving their linguistic performance in the business, personal and professional environment.
The students can choose between a wide range of courses all year around in small groups, the classes start every Monday: Intensive (10, 20 or 30 hours/week), DELE preparation, business Spanish, private lessons, groups, classes in company and others. Chinese, Japanese, English, French and Catalan are taught in Pylmon as well. All the courses include one extra hour of cultural class weekly.
The school can also arrange accommodation according to the needs of the students, in families, apartments or student’s residences so that the student can feel comfortable and enjoy the city, its culture and history.
The school offers cultural and leisure activities with the purpose of getting to know Barcelona and its surroundings, while practicing the language and meeting both students from other groups and teachers.
